On 6 June 1944, Allied Forces landed on the beaches of Normandy, France, and so opened the campaign that would see the liberation of the countries of Western Europe from Nazi Germany.

 

2024 marks the 80th anniversary of this event, but what was D-Day, and what role did Aldershot have to play? Join us in the Boyce Gallery for our special Aldershot at D-Day exhibition.
