Art of the 19th and 20th Centuries

‘Modern Art’ arouses strong feelings - like it or loathe it!

This course traces the development of painting and sculpture from Impressionists such as Monet and Renoir, via the artistic revolutions caused by Cezanne and Picasso, to the diversity of Jackson Pollock and the contemporary British artists.

This course is run by WEA South West and enrolment is online via their website. Booking through the museum is unfortunately not available for this course.

This course runs for six two hour long sessions each Thursday at 10.30am, between the 25 June and 30 July 2020.
