Step into the past and discover what life was really like over 2,000 years ago at Back to the Iron Age, every Thursday of the Hampshire School holidays! Perfect for families, history‑lovers, and curious minds of all ages, this immersive experience brings the Iron Age to life through hands‑on activities, storytelling, and real archaeological inspiration.

This summer, Back the Iron Age is being taken over by the Time Detective Agency! Running at HCT museums all over Hampshire* with different time traveling adventures, collect four mission complete stickers to earn your TDA button badge!

With a different theme each week, meet Iron Age characters, handle replica tools and weapons or learn how ancient communities cooked, crafted, and thrived long before modern life. From grinding grain to trying out simple weaving, you’ll get a feel for the everyday skills that shaped Iron Age Britain.
