On this course you will get a taste of book binding and make a beautiful notebook in the process! The course will consist of two half-day Saturday sessions.
These taster sessions are designed to introduce you to some basic bookbinding techniques and skills that will equip you to be able to continue to practice your skills at home.
At the end of the workshops, you will have a covered notebook to take home which will be yours to keep.
These workshops are open to anyone aged 18 and over who is able to thread a needle and see needle holes in paper. No experience of sewing is required, and all materials will be provided.
Sessions taking place on Saturday 25th May and Saturday 1st June, 10:00am - 2:00pm. This is a two-part workshop, split over two Saturdays.
ABOUT BRIGHTER FUTURES
Brighter Futures Courses are free of charge, and all materials will be provided. These courses are part of the Hampshire County Council Adult Community Learning Programme, Hampshire Learns. To be eligible for a course you must be 18+ years old, live in Hampshire and feel as though your mental health and wellbeing may benefit from attending a creative course.
