Inspired by the best selling book 'The boy, the mole, the fox and the horse', we will explore individual and collaborative figure sketching and colouring techniques, while reading and sharing thoughts on the beautiful topics discussed within the book.  Ideal for 8+ yrs old.

What you need: Wear clothes you don't mind making a mess in and a bottle of water. Materials will be provided, but please bring your own if you have spare waste materials you would like to use and/or share!

Tickets: £10 per child

Sessions: Friday 21 February 2025 10am - 12pm

Tutor: Emily Glen

Emily is an experienced sculptor and craft maker and has been working in the New Milton area creating and delivering work for several years. Emily has experience working in a local care home programming and delivering art activities and specialises in model making. Emily brings a lot of creativity to her work and allows participants to 'make their mark' and express themselves in a fun and safe way. Emily is an integral part of the Forest Arts Centre programming as she delivers the majority of our holiday clubs, creative camps and summer schools as well as teaching weekly for our Crafty Kids Club! Emily also works for Arnewood School in the Art Department making her a vital connection between Forest Arts Centre and the local school.
