Join artist, Michele Williams, for a one-day collage workshop, inspired by Michael Rosen and magical illustrations which brought his words to life. Through playful collage techniques, you'll explore a range of colours and images that spark creativity, just like the stories that once stirred your imagination. Reconnect with your inner child and remember what it is like to experiment with your creativity and imagination. This workshop is inspired by the 'Michael Rosen: The Illustrators' exhibition, taking place at The Willis Museum between 12 July - 02 November 2025: Michael Rosen: The Illustrators | Hampshire Cultural Trust

What you'll learn:

  • how collage illustrative technique can take away the ‘intimidation’ of a blank page but still present an artistic challenge
  • experiment with images and colours
  • play with creativity and imagination
  • creative techniques which can be used to support wellbeing

Who is this workshop for:

This workshop is open to all abilities - whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced artist, you'll enjoy the chance to learn new skills, connect with others and spend a relaxing day immersed in creativity. All materials are included
