Evelyn is a qualified florist with a  background in Finance and IT Training. She loves teaching flower classes and seeing the participants creating wonderful arrangements they are proud to show off or to give as a gift and to encourage and give participants the necessary knowledge to try out their new found skills out at home.

On this course you will make a beautiful floral hanging hoop using string, beads and dried flowers the hoop is designed to be used again and again.

All materials are supplied but please bring an apron if required ( we will be using hot glue guns) and feel free to bring any dried flowers you may have if you wish to personalise your creation to match your decor or mood.

Artist: Evelyn Waters

Evelyn started her career as an Air Engineering Mechanic in the Royal Navy and then trained to be a Management Accountant. She has always been interested in arts and crafts and have tried a variety of different crafts over the years including flower arranging. After 22 years working in Accounting and IT, Evelyn was made redundant. This prompted her to take the opportunity to train as a Florist and enrolled at college to study Floristry. For the last two years she has been running workshops for a local florist, she loves running workshops and seeing the delight on people’s faces when they have made their fabulous creations. I never fail to be amazed at the imagination and creativity of the students.
