Detangling The Knots

What does dementia look like? What does it feel like?

An art/ science exhibition exploring dementia, featuring site-specific crochet and mixed media installations, video, sound and performance.

Following a residency in the neuroscience laboratories at the University of Southampton and creative workshops with people who live with dementia, the exhibition will bring together all the different elements of the project Detangling The Knots.

Detangling The Knots, led by artist Barbara Touati-Evans in collaboration with artists Susan Merrick and Melanie Ray, aims to shine a light on dementia research and experience through art and to contribute to the ongoing dialogue about the condition.

Private View (online): Saturday 8 August

Supported by Arts Council England, Hampshire Cultural Trust and University Of Southampton
