Crafting Eco-systems through Soundscapes Interactions: a participatory Sound-walk experience
Join us for an immersive sonic workshop that delves deep into the rich sonic ecosystem of a place.
Equipped with electronic modules, exploratory tools and instruments personally curated by Boris Allenou, you will embark on a sound-walk like no other. This immersive experience lets you explore the surrounding soundscape, engaging with your environment in a new way to support wellbeing and mindfulness.
By tapping, scratching, making objects, urban furniture, architecture, trees… resonate, you will create a unique layer of sound, all while addressing vital ecological concerns and nurturing your sonic creativity.
Our journey begins with a brief introduction, listening exercises, and a presentation of the modules, taking approximately 30 minutes. Then, the collective group of sound-walkers sets off on an exploration that spans a few hours. During this extended period, you will dive even deeper into your sonic investigations, immersing yourself in the world of interactive soundscapes. You can do this within the workshop space or venture outside into the surrounding area.
Experience the soundscapes, collaborate, create, and join us for Echoes - Connections. In 2024 and beyond, we are exploring the way we interact with sound, and you are invited to be a part of it.
This is a two-part workshop split over two Thursdays, 18 July and 25 July 2024, 10:00am - 1:00pm.
