Hand build and glaze your own ceramic mini Roman Colosseum tealight holder in this special themed workshop, with professional ceramists from The Touring Potter. This summer we are inspired by the Becoming Roman exhibition.

The workshop is designed for children aged 7+, but younger children are welcome, however, the activity is not suitable for children under 5.

Children aged 10 years and over don't need to be accompanied if able and confident to follow instructions to use the tools provided. Children aged 9 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Accompanying adults are free but require a ticket. Adults are welcome to buy a ticket to take part in the making (purchase a Child ticket to be a maker).

Cost: £15 per maker. Accompanying adults are free but need a ticket. Accompanying adults are welcome to purchase a ticket to take part in the making alongside their child.

Your artwork will be taken away to be fired after the workshop, and will be available to collect from the museum at a later date. Maisie will contact everyone when they are ready to collect. This can take up to 6 weeks.

The workshop will take place in our 2nd floor activity room (only accessible via stairs).
