Hand build and glaze your own ceramic Penguin in this special festive workshop, with professional ceramists from The Touring Potter. These will be glazed and fired ready for Christmas, and will make a great gift or decoration.

The workshop is designed for children aged 7+, but younger children are welcome, however, the activity is not suitable for children under 5.

Children aged 10 years and over don't need to be accompanied if able and confident to follow instructions to use the tools provided. Children aged 9 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Accompanying adults are free but require a ticket. Adults are welcome to buy a ticket to take part in the making (just purchase a Child ticket to be a maker).

Cost: £18 per maker.

Your artwork will be taken away to be fired after the workshop, and will be available to collect from the museum at a later date. The Travelling Potter will contact everyone when they are ready to collect. This can take up to 6 weeks.

The workshop will take place in our 2nd floor activity room (only accessible via stairs).
