Join us for an afternoon showing of Emma (2020) as part of the Jane Austen Birthday Ball Weekend

This winter warmer for Alton's Regency Week in June will start off a special year, marking the 250th anniversary of Jane Austen's birth. Expect the sparks to fly in this sharp satire, exploring social class and coming of age in Jane Austen's time.

The film screening will take place in our accessible ground floor exhibition space. Refreshments including tea, coffee and non-alcoholic drinks will be available from the cafe, and there will be a short interval halfway through. 

All tickets are £7.00, and are available in person from the Allen Gallery reception (please check our seasonal opening hours before visiting).

The film is followed by a special Regency themed Evensong at 6pm at St Lawrence Church, just a short walk from the gallery.
