Paula Paton is a fine artist trained and graduated from the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in South Africa.
Conceptual glass was the subject in which Paula earned her degree, but has since taken to the canvas to portray her latest adventures. Being brought up in Southern Africa allowed Paula to explore and experience rural landscapes of Africa from the wild coast of Eastern cape to the vast forests of Langeni. Her use of bold colours and dramatic expressions show her influences from that region and her love for nature.
Paula focuses on movement within nature in a lot of her work, whether it be the wind in a wheat field near her home, or the way rain falls, it fascinates and greatly influences her work. She has now settled in the UK with her partner and son and continues to explore rural destinations of England and beyond.
