A varied programme of talks organised by the Friends of the Red House Museum

21 September 2022 Jim Bourke, Governor of Winchester Prison. A talk to accompany the exhibition 'Doing Time' at the museum from 10 September 2022
12 October 2022 Christopher Brown is a volunteer from the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. A talk focusing on the work of the Commission, especially Architecture and Conservation.
2 November 2022 'Posted in the Past'. A talk by Helen Baggott on postcards through history.
16 November 2022

'Minette Walters in Conversation'. Minette Walter's is the author of 17 crime/thriller novels, five of which have been adapted for TV. Minette’s last two books are 'The Last Hours' and 'The Turn of Midnight'. Both books are set in Dorset during the Black Death and give an insight into Dorset women and families during the plague.

Friends of the Museum have priority booking.

30 November 2022 The off-site visit this season is the Bournemouth Natural Science Society and Museum. The BNSS will open their doors on a Wednesday for us and provide a volunteer to guide us round the museum. 
7 December 2022 Peter Hopker will entertain us again with music at this Christmas seasonal time.
