A summer of fantastic music from some of the best musicians living locally. There's an amazing line-up each week, with some new performers to Forest Arts who are already making their name in the music scene, locally, nationally and internationally as well as some outstanding old friends. These are free events, but we ask that you book in advance to ensure a seat.The bar will be open, so come along, kick back and enjoy some wonderful music every Thursday evening this August.

Isobel Thatcher is an award winning acoustic Singer-Songwriter originally from Salisbury, Wiltshire, whose voice and songwriting has been compared to artists such as KT Tunstall and Bonnie Raitt. Isobel accompanies her singing with tuneful and percussive acoustic guitar, citing Blues as her main musical influence. Isobel has had a wide range of success singing all over the UK and internationally, in venues such as the Colton Hall, Bristol, The Bedford in London and Rampelyset, in Denmark.
Isobel’s long awaited second recently released (23.03.2019) E.P ‘On My Own’ boasts a range of styles from country, blues, folk and pop has been described by Rock-Regenernation‘ as: “a plethora of blues influences as well as a good sprinkling of country styles with Isobel’s fine vocals being the proverbial cherry on the cake.”'
Inspired by traditional and contemporary folk music, Antoine & Owena create their own original blend of folk music that provides a feast for the ears, the heart and the feet. Combining original material with their own take on some traditional songs, this Wiltshire-based duo of multi-instrumentalists delivers an eclectic mix of songs and tunes which enthuse and entertain. They won the Purbeck Valley Folk Festival Purbeck Rising Competition in 2017 and have been going from strength to strength since then, with regular festival performances, support slots for the likes of Martin and Eliza Carthy, and a critically successful debut album, released in 2018.

Reborn from the ashes of Music In Translation and Chameleon, the musical phoenix rises as Magikhat, consisting of - Nikki Pusey on Vocals, Poj Pusey on guitar and vocals, Jake Chambers on Bass and Gary Murphy on Drums.
Nikki and Poj Pusey originally formed as folk duet Krystal in 2010, and joined forces with Jake Chambers in 2015 to form post punk indie rock outfit Music In Translation. In March 2018 they met Gary Murphy originally the drummer with late 60’s Elektra signed psychedelic rock legends Leviathan, previously known as Mike Stuart Span, and more recently percussionist with Chameleon.
Magikhat play a solid hard edge mix of rock, pop, blues, & reggae covers 60s - 80s as well as some of their own compositions.
