Half Term Crafts: Remembering Rushmoor

Help us prepare for Remembrance Sunday by creating your own poppy for our Remembrance wreath exhibition using wet felt.  You can also make one to take away and have a go at our Remembrance Trail around the museum.

Suitable for ages 3+. Children must be supervised by their accompanying adult at all times. Please wear clothes you are prepared to get messy. Normal admission to the museum also applies.

Workshops will take place at 10:15, 11:15, 14:15 and 15:15 each day. Each workshop will coincide with a visiting slot, which we have introduced as part of our COVID-19 measures. If you are booking a morning session, your visiting time will be 10am-12pm and for afternoon sessions, 2pm-4pm.

Groups will be seated in bubbles of no more than six people, including adults and children. Please book a space for everyone in your party, adults and children under the age of 3 go free.

To help keep everyone safe, we’ve made some changes at Aldershot Military Museum. We have introduced a number of measures in line with government guidelines to help manage our visitor numbers and ensure we maintain social distancing to protect you, our staff and volunteers. You can find out what we are doing at Aldershot Military Museum here https://www.hampshireculture.org.uk/aldershot-military-museum. More information is available in our FAQs.
