Grab your mates and get the drinks in...Hecklers Comedy Club is back with a BANG on Thursday 12 September with...
Apologetic Eton and Oxford alumnus Ivo Graham started stand-up in 2009 at the age of 18, and eight months and later became the youngest ever winner of the prestigious So You Think You’re Funny award.
Since graduating three years later he has become a regular fixture in the clubs and theatres of the UK circuit, with a gauche charm and crafty, self-aware wit which has proved a hit with audiences of all ages, and led to appearances on multiple TV and radio shows including Live At The Apollo, Mock The Week, Live From The BBC, Comedy Central At The Comedy Store and As Yet Untitled. He is a regular writer on Fighting Talk and The Last Leg as well as several others, he is also busy developing his own sitcom for the BBC.
His four solo stand-up shows have enjoyed sell-out runs at Edinburgh and London’s Soho Theatre. Ivo recently performed at the Melbourne Comedy Festival where he made his Australian television debut and Sydney Comedy Festival. He undertook his first UK tour this spring and is currently enjoying a successful run at the Edinburgh Festival with his latest solo show.
The future is incredibly bright for this young star.
"Beautifully-constructed comedy" The Scotsman
"One of the best young comedians around" Time Out
Spring Day (yes that is her real name) is a New York stand-up comedian, writer and actor previously based in Tokyo, Japan and now currently working in the U.K. Her uniquely sharp, dark yet bubbly, and often brutal style of comedy is always a never to be missed crowd pleaser.
Voted Brooklyn’s Best Comedian in 2016, She has also been working as a comedy consultant on a pilot for the BBC set to be broadcast in 2019.
She is widely regarded as an inspirational force as she openly talks about her cerebal palsy affliction, often turning this to positive hilarious effect. A fluent Japanese speaker, Spring has been headlining at the Tokyo Comedy Store and has pretty much performed all over the world.
She has written, produced, directed and performed five solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival since 2010, all of which have received rave reviews and high acclaim.
"A definite must see" ThreeWeek
Isac Radu first started his comedy journey in Bucharest in 2006. He then ventured across to the United States where he dropped his native tongue and switched his delivery to English in order for the American audiences to understand what he was going on about.
He is now firmly established in the UK and making quite a name for himself on these shores
"Simultaneously sweet and dark" Chortle
hosted by: Liam Pickford
If Stewart Lee, Jack Dee and Morrissey ever had a child together, then Liam Pickford would be the result.
He started performing stand up in Manchester in June 2012, and very quickly established himself as one of the most innovative acts in the North.
His unique style is a breath of fresh air to the circuit where he has crafted his own unique brand of stand up, mixing cleverly honed material and punchlines with excitingly unpredictable audience interaction. All this, mixed in with a hint of ‘whimsy’ and clever observations whilst delivered in a wonderfully unenthusiastic and grumpy style.
“He’s got funny bones, and a scattergun mind that doesn’t quite work like anybody else’s” Chortle
