This July we will be joined at City Museum by experts from the Hyde 900 project!

These experts will be on hand to answer any of your questions about Winchester's fascinating Medieval history. Discussing specialist areas of pottery, ceramics, geophysical surveying, medieval glass, stonemasonry, and monastic architecture.

Children, as well as adults, will also have the chance to have a go at some ever-popular medieval tile making, where they will be able to make their own replicas of tiles found on the site of the Abbey!

On Saturday there will be even more fun, such as the opportunity to learn calligraphy skills under the guidance of a Cathedral scribe.

Don't forget to book your place through the Hyde 900 website, bookings will open at the end of May.
