Introduction to grant applications

A practical course designed to help participants acquire and apply the knowledge and skills to submit a strong funding application. Participants are encouraged to attend all three of the following workshops to maximise their value and if possible, come with an idea of a project they would be prepared to talk about.

About the Facilitator

Sonia is a heritage consultant with a background in museum development on a regional and local level and over 25 years' experience in the cultural sector. Since 2021 she has delivered bid writing training workshops and 1-2-1 funding advice surgeries; a key outcome of which was a grant writing toolkit. Sonia is currently working with the Diving Museum (Gosport) and has written successful applications to the Arts Council England, National Lottery Heritage Fund, Trusts and foundations.
