James Alderson & Friends Comedy Night: June 2021

It's the return of James Alderson and he's bringing his comedy friends with him in the first show back in the building this year! Check out the June line-up so far...with headliner to be announced!

Gary Delaney

He loves each and every gag and you can’t help but be carried away by his infectious charm. He’s like a cheeky schoolboy who can barely hide his glee with each and every punch line.

Gary’s the only comic ever to have got two gags in the same top 10 for Dave’s TV Funniest Jokes from the Edinburgh Fringe. He’s is currently touring, his last tour was extended four times and took in over 200 venues, he’s the premier gag smith of his generation and through twitter he’s become one of the most followed and quoted comedians in the country.

Catch the double Sony Award winning, Mock the Week regular warming up for his national Gary in Punderland tour!

Jake Lambert

Jake fell into a career as a stand up, after gaining a following on Twitter under the pseudonym @LittleLostLad he decided to put down his iPhone and pick up a microphone. It has proven to be a great choice with him making it to the final of the Amused Moose Final 2016, semi-finals of the BBC New Comedy Award 2015, Magners New Comedian of the Year 2015, English Comedian of the Year 2015 and the Leicester Mercury New Act of the Year 2015.

Jake has gone on to support Seann Walsh, Kerry Godliman, Tom Allen and Rob Beckett on their UK tours as well as writing on Mock The Week, 8 Out of 10 Cats, The Now Show, News Quiz, Virtually Famous, Bake Off: The Professionals, and Bake Off: An Extra Slice.

In 2018 he made his TV debut performing on Comedy Central’s Live From The Comedy Store and performed a sell-out run of his debut solo show Little Lost Lad at the Edinburgh comedy festival.

Tom Deacon

Tom sometimes can’t believe that this will be his 14th year performing stand-up around the UK and world. He’s loved every minute because his versatile and charming persona have led him to be a part of so many incredible things in the presenting world.

He has been performing live stand-up for the last 14 years – with four Edinburgh solo shows under his belt – and has been the host of his own TV, radio and online shows on BBC2, BBC Radio1, The Capital FM breakfast show, plus host of Gfinity Esports shows and YouTube football channel Copa90 – where his Eurofan escapades have notched up over 8 million views.

Tom has made guest appearances on BBC2’s The Rob Brydon ShowDave’s One Night Stand and ITV2’s Fake Reaction, and he is currently the host of F1 Esports Pro Series.

"With looks, confidence, charm and great material; expect other comics to lynch him" The Sunday Times

Will Mars

Brilliantly self-deprecating stand-up, Will Mars, is fast making a name for himself as a down-at-heel, yet lovable international star.

Whilst living in New York for the past few years, the English Comedian of The Year Finalist, has earned notoriety from his peers and audiences alike in both live comedy clubs as well as on air where he made his TV debut on Fox’s Showtime at The Apollo. In 2018 he returned to U.S. television on Season 8 of NBC Comcast’s knockout television show,Trial By Laughter, winning a place in the series final!

Will is also the creator and producer of the hit show, Joke Thieves. This is the hilariously funny improv-style show whereby Will challenges top comedians to perform their own jokes and then each others! This has been made into a pilot for BBC2 and has toured across the world from the US to Australia.
