If you would like the opportunity to get creative and learn a new skill, then this sociable, knowledgeable and fun workshop is for you. Immerse yourself in this 2 hour session to challenge your mind and promote a sense of well being. Feel relaxed and feel closer to nature...

This practical hands on workshop is suitable for beginners, or for those who have previously done flower arranging and simply want to come along to meet like minded people in a relaxed environment, creating a stunning arrangement to take home. Martina will demonstrate and guide you step-by-step to create your very own floral table design. 

The florist industry is transitioning to protecting the environment - where possible Martina will endeavor to use eco-friendly products eg. bio degradable floral foam.

What you can expect to learn:

  • Flower and foliage names
  • How to treat and prepare your flowers
  • What sundries to use
  • What mechanics to use
  • Flower terms
  • The techniques used to place flowers and foliage into a floral table design.

About the Tutor – Martina McNally-Garnham

Martina is a florist who works from her home studio in Pennington. She creates and designs flowers for all occasions for local clients; whether it be the latest contemporary design or a timeless classic floral arrangement. Martina is so passionate about her floral workshops. Being a people person she gets to work hands on demonstrating and guiding people create something beautiful they can admire in their home. Her courses promote a sense of well being and help challenge the mind and she gets so much pleasure in seeing the effect this has on people attending her courses who ultimately leave feeling relaxed.
