Lighting the Home Through the Ages

Have you ever wondered what type of candle the Romans used in their home? Or what objects the Anglo-Saxons used to bring light into their dwelling?

Join us at City Museum this half term to find out how lighting in the home has changed through the ages! Hear interesting facts from our team and get up close to our objects in our sessions.

The sessions are included in your admission ticket. Sessions will be held at: 11am, 12.30pm, 2pm and 3.30pm.
