Do you need a bit of time to yourself? Have a busy mind? Need to learn to re-focus or have trouble sleeping?
Come to Meditation and learn the basic principles of mindfulness meditation. You will be guided through two meditations, one sitting and one lying down. Anyone is welcome from absolute beginners to experienced meditators.
What you need: Please bring a yoga mat, a blanket and a cushion or yoga block.
Tutor: Barbara Touati-Evans
Barbara is a visual artist and meditation tutor. She has been practising meditation for ten years and teaching for six. She is very experienced in helping a variety of people accessing mindfulness meditation and enjoying meditating in a group.
Her style of meditation is informed by a variety of influences: wellbeing, spirituality and especially neuroscience. Both as an artist and meditator, she is interested in understanding how our brain works. She is always trying to learn and experience new things from her students and environments. She has run meditation sessions in libraries, art galleries and lecture theatres.
