You will be introduced to the basic principles of mindfulness meditation - with a chance to ask questions. There will be two guided meditations, one seated and one lying down. There will also be opportunity for feedback after the guided sessions.
Barbara is a visual artist and meditation tutor. She has been practising meditation for 10 years and teaching for 6. She is very experienced in helping a variety of people accessing mindfulness meditation and enjoying meditating in a group. Her style of meditation is informed by a variety of influences: wellbeing, spirituality and especially neuroscience. Both as an artist and meditator, she is interested in understanding how our brain works. She is always trying to learn and experience new things from her students and environments. She has run meditation sessions in libraries, art galleries and lecture theatres.
