Wednesday 31 July, Fantastic Feathers- learn about the fantastic camouflage of our owl species and how different shapes and colours would help our raptors catch their prey in the wild.
Wednesday 7 August, Puzzling Pellets - learn how our birds digest their food, and see what the bird team has been eating this week as we open up their pellets for inspection!
Wednesday 14 August, Magnificent Minibeasts - learn about the amazing world of bugs and, if you feel brave enough, come and hold one of our stick insects or cockroaches!
Wednesday 21 August, Falconry Furniture - Learn a little more about how our falconers manage the bird team and have a go at some of the skills yourself- do you think you have the dexterity to tie the all important falconers knot?
Wednesday 28 August, Medieval Falconry Demonstration - See the birds take to the skies and learn about how falconry would have been used back in the days that Basing House was in its prime
