A 10-hour course set over 4 weeks where you can focus upon improving your positive mental wellbeing by learning to ‘paint with wool’ and create a seasonal framed 2D picture. For this Spring term the needle felt subject will be blue tits amongst apple blossoms.

Your tutor, Carol Scicluna a local needle felt artist, will show you step by step the techniques of layering and blending natural sheep wool fibres to form a subtle background and then will share all of the tips and tricks you need to add the detailed embellishments.

You might decide to apply this new craft just for your own enjoyment or to take this further by exploring 3D needle felting techniques. You may be surprised what you can achieve to develop your creativity in this friendly relaxed class.
