Gosport Museum and Art Gallery is delighted to announce the return of Open Art for 2026.
Gosport Museum and Art Gallery is delighted to announce the return of our Open Art exhibition for 2026. Our theme this year of ‘Our Gosport’ is a celebration of our town and the people that call it home.
This exciting exhibition brings together the work of many brilliant local artists and creatives who have drawn inspiration from Gosport’s architecture, heritage, and people. Through a variety of mediums, from oil paints to textiles, each work provides a unique perspective on the town.
Are you feeling inspired? Visitors to the exhibition will have the chance to design a postcard to add to our gallery wall. Let us know what Gosport means to you!
Open Art: Our Gosport presents an opportunity for visitors to purchase the artworks on display. Please speak to a member of staff in our cafe to find out more.
Please note, all original works of art on sale in the exhibition are owned by the artist until sold to the customer. Hampshire Cultural Trust is acting as an agent, selling on behalf of the creator, on a commission basis.
The Open Art exhibition will run from Saturday 10 October until Saturday 5 December 2026.
