Reflecting the floral themes in our exhibition Out of the Blue, join artist and designer Miesje Chafer on this fun and accessible workshop to design and make your very own Garden Garland. Miesje will be guiding participants to use a range of different patterns and shapes inspired by the 'Out of the Blue' exhibition to create bold, Summer-themed leafy garlands. You’ll walk away with an original garland that can be used to adorn your home for months to come. No previous making experience is required.
Miesje is an artist, designer and maker based on the south coast. She screen prints bold, bright designs onto fabric which she then uses to create a range of different homewares and accessories. She is inspired largely by mid-century and Scandinavian design, with a bit of nature cropping up every now and then!
