The legendary Sealed Knot is bringing the sights, sounds and drama of the English Civil War to life with thrilling battle re-enactments, authentic encampments and hands-on experiences. Feel the thunder of musket fire, watch skilled soldiers clash in epic skirmishes and immerse yourself in 17th-century life. Whether you're a history buff or just looking for a fantastic day out, this is an event not to be missed! And remember... it will be loud!
What's on over the weekend...
- Guided tours will leave the visitor centre from 11:00am on both days
- Living history re-enactments will take place on both days in the bailey starting at 11:00
- At 2:30pm the skirmish begins! The re-enactors will fight their way through the Great Barn and then over to the main battleground
- The cafe at the visitor centre will be open all weekend selling tea, coffee, soft drinks, cakes, snacks and ice creams, plus Berro foods will be at the bothy selling delicious burgers, chips and churros as well as hot and cold drinks
