Shape a Sphere: From Workshop to Gallery

Join Artist and Educator, Helen Northcott, for a hands-on, collaborative workshop comprising 2 sessions within which we will craft unique three-dimensional globe sculptures to reflect our connection to nature and explore creativity as a tool for self-reflection.

Using salvaged, natural and recycled materials - or even a pre-existing globe shaped object - you’ll design and create your own spherical sculpture, which can be submitted to The Winchester Gallery’s show, Small Worlds*, a collaborative exhibition that uses creativity to explore climate and our connections to planet, nature, our local green space and people.

Whether you want to express personal reflections linked to nature, make observations on our wider world, explore feelings through making or simply enjoy a playful creative session this workshop invites you to experiment, share ideas and see your work submitted for display in a local gallery.

No prior artistic experience is required - just bring your curiosity and an open mind. Come along, get creative, and be part of something bigger!

Sessions run from 10am-1pm on June 6th and June 13th, you will need to be free to attend both.
