Here at City Museum we are celebrating St. Swithun's Day!

Did you know that St. Swithun is Winchester's very own Patron Saint? His feast day lands on the 15th of July each year... will you be feasting in his honour?

According to traditional folklore, whatever the weather is like on St. Swithun's Day (rain or shine), it will carry on for for the whole summer!

Join us for lots of historical fun including weather predictions, crafts on medieval feasting and even an egg and spoon race!

But be careful... St. Swithun won't be there to perform a miracle and fix your egg if you drop it!
