Too Much Iron... Can Lead to Vision Loss

An exhibition by Yonat Nitzan-Green

"This exhibition comprises of drawings and paintings made in the last five years. My work is inspired by the French philosopher Gaston Bachelard's notion of 'material imagination'. Primitivism, durability and movement are some of the characteristics of material imagination that form my artwork.

By putting together this exhibition at the Andover's Iron Age Museum, I am looking to make a link between the ancient and the new; to see what understandings might emerge from bringing contemporary issues to the bosom of our vast history."
