Tuesday Stroll: Dementia-Friendly Heritage Health Walks

Free dementia-friendly walks open to all.

Taking place every second and fourth Tuesday of the month. 10.30am start, meeting at the Red House Museum.

These gentle walks start and finish at the Red House Museum. Light refreshments are provided at the museum following the walk. The walks last approximately 30 – 40 mins, with stopping points and you set the pace. These walks are dementia-friendly but open to all. People with dementia and their carers, as well as others who would benefit from a gentle stroll in the company of others, are encouraged to take part.

Walks are free. No need to book, just turn up. Donations always welcome.

Stopping points help you discover more about the unique heritage of Christchurch and are led by trained and helpful volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering your time to support these walks, please do get in touch to find out more.

These walks are part of the 'Still Curious Project', which has been made possible through funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, and has been kindly supported by the Friends of the Red House Museum and sponsored by Colten Care.
