We'll Meet Again

Experience life on the home front in WWII from the Blitz through to VE day at Milestones this summer. This family-friendly, immersive exhibition allows each visitor to follow their own journey through wartime Hampshire. Along the way you will live through evacuation, rationing and the blackout on our authentic 1940’s streets. Visitors can train with the Home Guard, fly our VR Spitfire*, see cooking demonstrations from the Ministry of Food and buy refreshments from the NAAFI or rationed sweets from our sweet shop. You will also have the opportunity to experience a realistic Air Raid in our public shelter* and learn about the aftermath of a raid in a rubble strewn bomb site. Discover the role of Hampshire in the build up to D-Day and join in the celebrations of VE day!

Included in normal admission, this is a must-see interactive exhibition for all ages looking back on wartime Britain.  There’s 15% off when you book online and under 5s are free, plus with our Pay Once Visit All Year admission, you can come back as many times as you like†.
