AM - Floral Studies - Single Blooms

Working from photos and single blooms, focused on exploring ‘wet on dry’ methods to create beautiful paintings using creative and free flowing techniques, for a relaxed and mindful experience.

Class includes - colour mixing, brush techniques, paper types and uses, watercolour paint types available to use. Some basic drawing skills required.

For beginners to experienced artists, learning unique techniques from the artist Nicky Bell.

All materials supplied.

PM - Bountiful & Blousy Blooms

Building on the morning session creating bountiful vases of blousy blooms, loose methods and techniques well matched to a summer garden bouquet.  Explore loosening up and being free with watercolour painting, a mindful and free flowing experience.

 

This is a one day course, taking place on 22 July 2024.

Brighter Futures Courses are free of charge, and all materials will be provided. These courses are part of the Hampshire County Council Adult Community Learning Programme, Hampshire Learns. To be eligible for a course you must be 18+ years old, live in Hampshire and feel as though your mental health and wellbeing may benefit from attending a creative course.
