Summer

Working with children aged 7-11 from Winklebury Junior School, this project will explore biodiversity, the value of microhabitats, the current threats to local wildlife and sustainable solutions in their neighborhood in Basingstoke.  Students will work with experts from Hampshire Wildlife Trust to research the diverse non-human life that lives in their town. These findings will generate a large-scale collaborative artwork, created using recycled fabric and print techniques, led by textile artist Vanessa Rolf.
