Located on Gosport's historic high street in a Grade II listed building, Gosport Museum and Art Gallery has been a site of continuous educational, cultural and heritage provision for over 100 years.
However, this important asset is currently underused. Our vision is to transform the building into a vibrant cultural hub that uniquely blends heritage, arts, education and culture in an offer that is relevant to visitors and residents of all ages and backgrounds. Our fundraising target to achieve our vision is £1,372,000, of which we are delighted to share that we have already secured £1,192,500!
However, we need your support to help us raise the final £179,500 so that we can undertake the vital capital works to open up the building and bring it into full use for the whole community.
“The restoration and enhancement of… cultural heritage assets through capital investment is of paramount importance in supporting the wider economy in seaside towns.”
