Our gardens are all unique and even just a bit of your time and expertise could really help keep them at their best. We’d welcome input into landscaping or improvements too!

Admin and Research

Hampshire Cultural Trust cares for over 2.5 million historic objects, from working steam engines to fragile ancient artefacts. Our collections tell the stories of the people who lived in Hampshire thousands of years ago right up to the present day.

We welcome researchers to work with our collections, helping us reveal new insights and to support interesting and fascinating exhibitions in our venues for everyone to enjoy. If you feel you assist us in our research, administration and how we work with the public, we have several roles at our HQ in Winchester and across the region.

Arts Centres

We have three arts centres in different parts of Hampshire. Ashcroft Arts Centre in Fareham, Forest Arts in New Milton and the West End Centre in Aldershot. These venues offer plenty of hands on roles from kids’ classes and activities volunteers to being an usher at a comedy event or gig.

Social impact

Our social impact projects create opportunities for people to experience culture and achieve a positive change in their lives.

In 2017/18 we worked with over 1,300 participants on a range of programmes, designed to engage with and improve the lives of the most vulnerable in society. We also delivered a variety of school programmes to nearly 21,000 school children. Projects could be art, dance or drama, sometimes they are led by exhibitions within our museums or are specially developed activities to promote positivity, culture and well-being.

We work with all members of our community and key partners to cover the whole of Hampshire and to focus on the priority areas of young people, older people, schools and community engagement.

Could you support us with this vital work?
