With more than 30 years’ experience, Colten Care are a family-owned care home company based in Ringwood, who owns and operates high-quality care homes across Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire and West Sussex. Their services include residential, nursing and dementia care.

Hampshire Learns is the internal training department of Hampshire County Council that supports the delivery of Adult Community Learning (ACL). 

The Hampshire Learns ACL offer aims to deliver varied and innovative learning opportunities across a broad range of mediums, including online and where appropriate face to face delivery. 

There are also ACL tutor resources available such as handbooks, policy documents and CPD information.

Established in 1854, Aldershot is the home of the British Army. The garrison was established when the War Department bought a large area of land near the village of Aldershot, with the objective of establishing a permanent training camp for the Army. Over time, this camp grew into a military town and continues to be used by the Army to the present day. It is home to the headquarters of the Army's Regional Command, and it is also the administrative base for the 101st Logistic Brigade. The garrison plays host to around 70 military units and organisations.

Combat Stress is the UK’s leading charity for veterans’ mental health. For over a century, they have helped former servicemen and women with mental health problems such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety and depression. 

Today they provide specialist treatment and support for veterans from every service and conflict, focusing on those with complex mental health issues.

The Energy Youth Centre opened in 2011 and is run by Groundwork.The Groundwork youth workers are on hand to offer advice and guidance on a range of topics like relationships, work experience, budgeting, stress, smoking, career advice and more.

The centre was purpose built to provide the younger residents of Eastleigh a place to socialise, take part in ongoing activities and gain support from the dedicated Groundwork team in a fun and welcoming environment.

Pavilion Dance South West is a centre of excellence for socially relevant Dance, working with great dance artists and commission and programme dance that connects with people, leaving a lasting impression on the people or place, a footprint in the sand.

Their programmes enhance the quality of life of local residents and visitors, bringing fantastic live performances and opportunities to dance, collaborating with other individuals and organisations to make significant projects and supporting a strong cultural profile for Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole and the surrounding area.

Dorchester Arts engages people in a wide variety of arts events – from huge outdoor events to small-scale children’s theatre.

Dorchester Arts programme performances in a variety of venues across Dorchester, including St Mary’s Church and Maumbury Rings, and work with a wide range of community groups, delivering arts activities for all ages.

ArtsLink Fizz! is a special wellbeing project which provides activities to enhance and enrich the lives of local people.

Funded by the National Lottery for 4 years (2017-2021) this project delivers the following free weekly sessions:

• Parkinson’s Dance – special dance and movement activity for people living with Parkinson’s
• Art for Memory – supportive groups for people with early stage Memory Loss, whatever the reason, which utilize creative activities to encourage engagement and sharing
• Art for Parents – social groups with a focus on creative activities which provide support and friendship.

The Ashwood Academy, based in Basingstoke, is a small, supportive alternative education centre for learners aged 11 to 16-years-old. The national curriculum is delivered within a flexible and nurturing environment that recognises individual needs.

The Ashwood Academy provides short-term placements for young people in the Basingstoke area who need additional behavioural, emotional or medical support.

Greenwood School is a Pupil Referral Unit based in Dibden, The New Forest. They work in close partnership with nine secondary schools in the New Forest.

The school provides an education for:

KS3-4 pupils who have been permanently excluded from their mainstream school, or who are at risk of permanent exclusion, and children with special educational needs awaiting a place at a special school.

KS3-KS4 pupils who are medically unwell or who are emotionally vulnerable with a diagnosis of mental health difficulties.

The Key Education Centre, Gosport, offers education for children who are temporarily unable to attend school because of the following reasons:

• they have been permanently excluded from school
• they are at risk of being permanently excluded from school
• they are unable to access school because they are emotionally vulnerable
• they are unable to access school because they are facing an absence of 15+ continuous school days due to ill health.

Rowhill School is a Behaviour, Emotional & Social Development Needs school based in Aldershot.

Approximately two thirds of pupils are of secondary school age; all pupils have a statement of special educational needs that is primarily for their behavioural, social and emotional difficulties. However, a significant number of pupils also have additional needs associated with, for instance, their autism or speech and language difficulties.

Many pupils receive support from other agencies, such as social services, the youth offending service, and child and adolescent mental health services. More than a tenth of pupils are children who are looked after by the local authority.

Smannell Field School, formerly Andover Education Centre, is a small Pupil Referral Unit based in Andover. It provides alternative placements for students who are at risk of exclusion or who have been permanently excluded from their mainstream school.

Smannell Field School also caters for emotionally vulnerable and medical students who are finding it difficult to access their mainstream school by offering a more personalised timetable provision.

The Key Education Centre, Havant, offers education for children who are temporarily unable to attend school because of the following reasons: 

• they have been permanently excluded from school
• they are at risk of being permanently excluded from school
• they are unable to access school because they are emotionally vulnerable
• they are unable to access school because they are facing an absence of 15+ continuous school days due to ill health.

The Bridge Education Centre is a Pupil Referral Unit based in Eastleigh. It is a mainstream provision for students who are at risk of exclusion or who have been permanently excluded from their mainstream school.

The Bridge Education Centre also caters for emotionally vulnerable students who are finding it difficult to access their mainstream school.

New Forest Young Carers work with young carers to create a tailored support package for them and their family. This could include:

Hampshire Youth Offending Team (HYOT) is a multi-agency team comprising staff from Children’s Services, probation, police, health and volunteers.

Hampshire Youth Offending Teams’s ambition is to see fewer children and young people involved in the criminal justice system. This will reduce the number of potential victims of crime and promote the confidence and safety of our local communities.

BearFace Theatre CIC design and deliver tailor made multi-arts based programmes using a range of creative methods as a tool to lift the voices of those who feel unheard.

Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) are an NHS service that aims to help young people up to the age of 18 who are finding it hard to manage their emotional and psychological health, and who are suffering with acute, chronic and severe mental health problems.

CAMHS have community teams of staff across the Hampshire area that have expertise in working with children/young people with complex mental health difficulties and their families/carers. Their staff also have expertise in working with children and young people from vulnerable groups and their networks. This includes children in care, young people involved with the criminal justice system, children with learning disabilities and those with eating disorders.

New Forest is a local government district in Hampshire, England. Its council is based in Lyndhurst. The district covers most of the New Forest National Park, from which it takes its name.

The Handy Trust supports young people in our community who face many challenges and need support. Some are vulnerable and disadvantaged. Others struggle with everyday scenarios. The trust offers support and guidance to help them lead healthy, happy and fulfilling lives.

Their small team of Youth Workers and volunteers engage with youngsters where they feel most comfortable, this includes at youth clubs, in the community, in school, at home or via social media.

MBN ARTS is Bournemouth’s Urban Arts Bespoke Provider. They make best use of the talents and wisdom of enthusiastic, skilled and experienced coaches to inspire, empower and enable a diverse range of individuals and groups, particularly those who may be sensitive, and are not thriving in mainstream education.

Combining play with a variety of creative pathways, MBN ARTS support both the development of key transferable skills required within the classroom environment, and the wellbeing of young people. Their work provision carefully balances comfort with challenge to promote resilience, to empower young people to confidently navigate life’s journey, and towards success within education.

Their academic record over a long period shows them to be a consistently high performing school, with impressive examination results at all key stages including in their vibrant sixth form. At Arnewood they pride ourselves on their great international links to help develop a global mindset.

Project: Men's Shed Packs, New Forest

New Milton Men's Shed is an informal group of men (women are also welcome) who get together to talk/discuss any topic and occasionally get involved in some physical activity for the benefit of others for example a local charity or maybe a member of the group.

The Men’s Shed exists to provide a safe and friendly environment, for people to come together and to provide a contact point for like minded people to meet and socialise.

Members share skills, knowledge and experience, to enrich each other’s lives, by undertaking practical projects and using their "Shed" as a social hub. Activities of the "Shed" are driven by the aims and interests of its membership, to benefit themselves, and the wider community.

Supports young carers aged 7-18 years, with one-to-one work, school support, trips and activities, and signposting. Community First's Young Carers support are members of Hampshire Young Carers Alliance and work with Hampshire County Council and other agencies to develop a programme of work in line with County and National policies.
