Allen Gallery Open Art Exhibition returns on 6 July - 8 September 2024
We are delighted to invite submissions by artists for the Allen Gallery Open Exhibition this summer, celebrating creativity in a range of media.
Artworks can include any drawing, printing, painting, photography, digital art, wall-mounted/relief sculpture, wall-mounted 2D/relief mixed media and video. We are particularly interested in works that reveal a process or way of working, whether through the work itself or in the artist's supporting statement. Please note for this show we are unable to accept plinth-based or freestanding work.
Deadline for submissions: 10 June 2024. Cost £10 per entry, for up to 2 artworks. To apply please complete the application form here: AllenGallery24

Works will be selected by a panel and there will be voucher prizes for artworks nominated by visitors and the curatorial team.

Situated in the historic market town of Alton, the Allen Gallery is an intimate setting for one of the south’s most outstanding collections of ceramics. The gallery hosts an impressive and varied selection of pottery, porcelain and tiles dating from 1250 to the present day. Regular exhibitions are held by artists working in ceramics, textiles, painting and other media. The Open Art Exhibition will run from 6 July to 8 September, and will be an exciting addition to our activities during Alton Arts Festival and the summer period.
