Unlock your creativity and nurture your well-being with this object-led Creative Writing course, led by writer, producer, and presenter, Lauren Grierson. Lauren specialises in producing bespoke learning workshops in heritage and arts settings, with a decade of experience across London and Hampshire.

Each week, dive into a new theme by bringing an object or photo that connects with you and share the story behind your chosen item with the group. Then, experience a unique time travel meditation, immersing yourself in the narrative of the week’s featured object. Unleash your creativity through an exercise in free writing and finish by crafting a piece of writing of your choice inspired by the workshop.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Share the story behind your object and be inspired by others as they share theirs
  • Uncover a new museum object's story each week
  • The art of meditation to enhance inspiration and focus
  • Strategies for overcoming creative blocks and establishing a regular writing routine
  • Personalise and ritualize your writing process

This is a four week course taking place on Wednesdays between 19th June - 10th July, 10:30am - 12:30pm.
