Have a go at creating your own replica tiles of those found on the site of Hyde Abbey. For a small charge, you'll also have the option to have your tiles fired and glazed!
Representatives from Hyde900 will be on hand to explain the activities of this community group and will be delighted to answer questions about the results of research into the history and architecture of Hyde Abbey.
Other experts will be present to discuss specialist areas of pottery, ceramics, geophysical surveying, medieval glass, stonemasonry and monastic architecture. Children are also catered for, with opportunities to rebuild the Abbey and sort the finds from previous digs!
