A whole day where you can focus upon improving your positive mental wellbeing by learning a new craft. Your tutor, Carol Scicluna, a local needle felt artist, will show you all the tips and tricks you need to create your very own little blue tit, she will be on hand to help you all the way!

Needle felting uses special barbed needles that catch the natural wool fibres as they are repeatedly poked to transform into a 3D wool sculpture. It can be very therapeutic and relaxing as can sharing the day with others.

You might decide to apply this new craft just for your own enjoyment, start making or selling gifts for others or explore other needle felting techniques. Either way, being able to work with natural fibres, beautiful colours and feeling a sense of accomplishment are benefits that other learners have said contribute to their wellbeing.

This is a one day workshop taking place on Wednesday 22 May 2024, 10:15am - 4:15pm.
