Calling young creatives! Get inspired at the launch of our young people's programme for 2024 at this FREE workshop with established local artist Chris Horner.
During this session we will be looking at new ways of working with paint and found objects - this session will give you the skills and techniques to develop your own design ideas in any direction you choose, and create an impact on canvas. At the end of the session you will have your own 20 x 20cm canvas to take away.
The Allen Gallery houses many unique painted designs and patterns, we will look at how we can create striking designs using colour, form and composition. The rest is up to you as you create your own unique piece of wall art! All materials will be provided.

The session is free for young people ages 12 - 18.

This session will be followed by a series of regular pottery workshops for young people, as well as other art and design workshops throughout the year for young people aged 12 - 18.
