Part of the Rediscovering the Allen Gallery project, this workshop is made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Thanks to National Lottery players, we have been able to offer an exciting new activities programme supporting wellbeing and skills development through a variety of creative workshops and events for all ages. Our community programme is delivered with the generous additional support of East Hampshire District Council and Alton Town Council with all activities hosted at the Curtis Museum while the gallery is closed.
About the tutor: Judith Venn is an Alton-based artist and maker, with a background in textiles. She regularly exhibits and sells her work and is an experienced facilitator, bringing her inclusive, fun and creative approach to many of Hampshire Cultural Trust's workshop programmes for adults and young people. Alongside her professional role, Judith is also one of our key volunteers for the Allen Gallery Project, having spent many hours photographing and documenting the ceramics collection.
Accessibility: This workshop is taking place in our upstairs activity space, which is accessed via a flight of stairs. We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause. Please contact the venue if you would like any further information.
What to bring: All materials and equipment provided. Please bring any snacks or drinks you may need, a range of crisps and other small snacks are available from the museum shop.
