Create your own poured candles using all natural soy wax, essential oils and scents, decoration, jam jars, vintage tea cups and more.

You'll learn how to blend essential oils to create a harmonious mix that's tailored to you. All materials used in this workshop are vegan friendly.

Please note that candles work best if left in the same place for at least 24 hours to set and are picked up the next day.

What you need: Comfy clothes you don't mind making a mess in.

Tutor: Kim Searle

Kim Searle graduated from the University of Huddersfield BA Textile Crafts course in 2012 after specialising in Printmaking with an emphasis on creative work within communities. She works under the name Darn It! Workshops, primarily delivering creative workshops across the country to deliver creative sessions to galleries, community groups, festivals, events, creative spaces and more. She recognises that everyone learns differently and adapts teaching styles to the individual, tries to only work with venues that are accessible, offers low income options and strongly believes in the benefits of creativity for mental health.
