Art for enjoyment: Painting, drawing and more (Spring 2026)
Whether you're interested in drawing, painting, mixed media, or sculpture, our tutors will guide you every step of the way, providing personalised feedback and encouraging your artistic development.
Our art classes are focused on exploration, experimentation, and creativity. In this welcoming environment, you'll have the freedom to express yourself artistically without judgment.
We'll provide all the necessary materials, so you can simply relax, let go of any pressure, and enjoy the process of creating. It's a fantastic opportunity to meet like-minded individuals, make new friends, and have a wonderful time together. You are also welcome to bring your tea/coffee with you- we have a café full of tempting treats on site!
Previous lesson themes include:
Still Life drawing, artwork in the style of our current exhibition, watercolour techniques, figure drawing, lino printing, perspective and composition, acrylic paint techniques, painting on a canvas, oil paint experimentation, clay sculpting using air dried clay, collage and mixed media.

Each week will cover a different topic/technique and we can be flexible depending on what the class is keen to learn, or are feeling open-minded to try something totally new to them!
Enrol today and get ready to embrace new artistic skills in an encouraging, relaxed environment.
