The Friends of the Red House Museum Talks are held on Wednesdays at 2pm, in the Main Gallery, on the following dates:
Members and non-members are welcome.
25 September | Wildlife Gardening – a talk from Josh Clarke of The Parks Foundation.. |
9 October | New Forest WWII Airfields Then and Now – a talk from Steve Williams pilot and historian. |
23 October | WWII Spies – a talk by Geoff Budden from the Royal Signals Museum. Geoff will also be bringing “spy sets” from the museum. |
6 November | Art of Sharon James – Sharon will be holding an exhibition at the Red House Museum and so all her art will be on display. An informal Artist Talk, the stories behind the paintings and an opportunity to ask questions about process and techniques. |
20 November | T E Lawrence – Martin Gething from the T E Lawrence Society and a volunteer guide at Clouds Hill will be presenting a talk on the life of Lawrence and his connections to Dorset. |
4 December | Charles Dickens – a very welcome return of the actor Denis Carlton who will be regaling us with the story of Charles Dickens. |
