Make the most of the summer, and relax to the sounds of some of the best local bands and musicians in the beautiful gardens of the Red House Museum Gardens.

Gigs in the Garden are intimate, outdoor live music events with a line up of up to 4 different artists on each date. Expect a mixture of chilled out and lively beats from folk to jazz, with a few surprises thrown in. The line ups will be announced on our Facebook and Instagram pages.

Gigs in the Garden take place on Sunday 19 May, Sunday 16 June (Father's Day), and Sunday 7 July.

Tickets: £6 per person. Under 16's are free but still need a ticket.

Sunday 19 May line-up:

12.30pm, Katie Waygood   

Katie Waygood is a singer songwriter & multi instrumentalist, originally from The New Forest in England. Her music is influenced by many different genres including folk, pop, rock & jazz, with original releases recorded at the infamous Abbey Road studios featuring on BBC introducing Solent, FATEA and many others.

1.20pm, Kirstie Laurence

 

A local award winning solo performer and singer songwriter originally from Birmingham, inspired by country and alt pop, Kirstie has a unique, compelling  voice and an engaging set list including acoustic takes on popular songs, with an occasional Spanish twist.

2.10pm, Crystal Visions

 

A fresh acoustic duo playing a smooth mix of styles with rich vocal harmonies and guitar, Crystal Visions perform beloved songs from popular artists given a unique twist, as well as some of their own original songs and brings together the talents of two highly regarded musicians and singer songwriters, Rachel Ann and Kez Hinton.

  2.50 pm, Murphy’s Lore Trio                                                                                

A powerful Folk trio bringing you folk songs and tunes with oomph! Including wistful waltzes, rollicking reels, jaunty jigs, peppery polkas and songs from the sea and land - some sad, some humorous. Expect a wealth of traditional songs, with maybe a few surprises thrown in.

Doors open at 12pm, performances start at 12.30pm

Picnics are welcome and bring your own seating. Only assistance dogs are permitted in the museum gardens.
