Join us for an exciting afternoon or evening as we explore Gosport’s drinking tradition.

You will hear stories of rival brewers, drunken escapades and enterprising bumboat women whilst enjoying a few local brews in three unique venues. Learn about the sailor-filled, beer-soaked, bustling, hustling walled town of Gosport in the 18th and 19th centuries whilst you stand in the very streets where it happened. You can expect an intimate tour with a maximum of eight guests.

Includes

  • Three drinks are included in the ticket price. As a guide you can expect your drink to be a choice of cask, keg, cider or an alcohol-free option depending on what each venue has available at the time of the tour, but wine or spirits will not be included as part of the offer.
  • A 10% voucher card for use at each of the venues we visit if you return after the tour (terms and conditions apply).

Meeting point

  • We start at the Four-Ale Taproom, 45 Stoke Road, Gosport, PO12 1LS. You will find the tour guide inside the venue at a reserved table on the left as you enter the building. If you are unsure, feel free to ask one of the friendly bartenders who will happily point you in the right direction.
